I'm glad you are here.
Hello and Welcome! I am so honored you have stopped by. The initial steps of getting support can be so challenging, I applaud and admire you for making it this far! Let me start by introducing myself.
My name is Miranda Gambetti. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC II). I have been in the Counseling field since 2010, and before that I worked in Early Childhood Education. For my entire life, I have cared deeply for others around me, seeing all sides of the human experience (the good and the bad) as a way to explore how we want to see and be seen in this world.
I view counseling as an opportunity for growth in personal health and self-discovery, in the context of a supportive environment through a therapeutic relationship. I work with each client collaboratively to help them find their strengths and work towards their individual goals. The counseling room is a place of openness with no judgement. I come from a Person Centered Theoretical background, meaning there is unconditional care for every aspect of your experience. I support clients in evaluating their thought processes, the actions that follow, and if that is meeting their needs or not. Everyone should be aware that counseling presents both benefits and risks, as they seek to make changes in their lives. Sometimes we have to go through the uncomfortable to get through to the other side. Progress within counseling will be reviewed throughout the course of services, and modifications will be made as needed.
Supervision
Becoming a Mental Health Professional is so incredibly rewarding and can be a tricky journey to maneuver. In the early stage of your career, it is important to find a Supervisor that can help cultivate clinical skills, professional confidence, support in finding the balance between person and professional life, and help navigate long term stability in this field. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where you can freely explore clinical cases, address ethical dilemmas, and discuss personal and professional challenges, while ensuring a high-quality care to your clients. The main theories that guide my approach to Supervision are The Discrimination Model, Strengths-Based, and Humanistic Focused.
I am able to supervise Professional Counseling Associates and Marriage and Family Associates.
Supervision of Supervision/ Professional Consultation
As professional growth continues, becoming a Clinical Supervisor is a fantastic way to support providers in the field who are starting out. I offer supervision of supervision for those wanting to become an Approved Supervisor, as well as profession consultation. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where you can explore your role and responsibility as a supervisor. This includes your associates’ clinical cases, addressing ethical dilemmas, and discussing personal and professional challenges, while ensuring a high-quality care to your associates and in turn their clients. The main theories that guide my approach to Supervision are The Discrimination Model, Strengths-Based, and Humanistic Focused.
